Egg Pakoda is fried egg stuffed with potato mix . It works great as an appetizer and even as an evening snack. Hope you all will enjoy having this crunchy egg pakodas.


Ingredients:

Eggs 4 nos Boiled
Potato 1 medium size boiled
Green chilli 1 finely chopped(optional)
Cumin powder 1/2 tsp
Red chilli powder (acc)
Chopped coriander leaves
Salt
For the Batter:
 
Gram flour or Besan 1/4 cup
Salt
Red chilli powder
Soda a pinch of
water
 
Method:
 
In a bowl mix take the skinned boiled potato and mash it well. To that add green chilli(optional), salt, cumin powder , red chilli powder and chopped coriander leaves.
Now take the boiled eggs and cut from one side so that it will be open like a door. Don't divide into parts.
Take 1 tbsp of potato and stuff it from the open side and close it. Repeat the process with all the eggs.
Now take bowl take gram flour , soda, salt, chilli powder and make a thick batter with water. Mix it well so there is no lumps.
Take pan pour oil for frying.
After the oil is hot dip the stuffed eggs in the batter so that the eggs are covered well with batter and then deep fry on a high flame till it becomes brown. Remove it on a paper towel.

Crispy Egg Pakoda is ready to be served hot.

 Serve it with some sliced onions and chilli and tomato sauce.

Notes:

You can fry the whole green chilli with the remaining batter.
You can serve it with any sauce or chutney of your choice.
